Deconstructing Cravings

Cravings play a critical role in understanding what your body needs and shouldn’t be ignored.
For example, if your dying for a piece of moist rich chocolate cake, and you go all around town looking just to get that slice from your favourite bakery that you know will hit the spot. Most likely, what your craving is a hug of a loved one, or some romance in your life.
Chocolate, much like a hug.. increases Serotonin in your blood (aka the happy hormone) and decreases Cortisol levels (the stress hormone).
When you learn how to deconstruct your cravings and understand what they’re really telling you, you will be able to reclaim a sense of balance and harmony.
